Dr. Lovell Hodge
Dr. Lovell Hodge has over 25 years of experience in information technology and artificial intelligence in academia, banking, and insurance. At Munich Re, he conceives and implements leading-edge solutions to modernize and transform how life and disability insurance products are underwritten, processes are automated and claims are intelligently triaged and profiled. With areas of focus that include data and knowledge-based systems, artificial neural networks, intelligent multi-agent systems, fuzzy logic, and genetic algorithms, Dr. Hodge has developed several advanced AI solutions for claim fraud detection, pattern recognition, cancer recognition, customer profiling, multi-agent coordination and medical rule-based decision support systems. His work is published in both technical and general business publications, and he is a regular presenter at industry conferences.

Kerin Moreton
Kerin Moreton is Vice President, North American Claims at Munich Reinsurance. She is responsible for Claims and Canadian Legal counsel for Life, Group and Living Benefits products, for clients in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean. She leads Munich Re’s claim experts in adjudication, industry Best Practices, claim training, risk monitoring and compliance audits, process automation and digitization, and reporting. Directing diverse and multi-lingual teams in Toronto, Montreal and Atlanta, Kerin has also conceptualized and created claim systems internally and customized tools for clients, promoting innovation and thought leadership in claim management and processes. Kerin has more than 30 years of insurance and reinsurance industry experience. She is a past presenter at the ECC, International Claim Association (ICA), was an Executive Member of the Canadian LOMA Claims Education Section, and speaks at various Claims, Underwriting and Reinsurance conferences.
