What are the Dates for the 2012 conference?

When will the 2011 Program Information and Attendee Registration
forms be available on the Web Site?
Complete

Am I too late to attend?
Early
pre-registration is the easiest way to attend the ECC, but it is
possible to register at the door, subject to a $50 late fee.
What is the dress code at the conference?
Business
attire is encouraged.
If I cancel or do not attend the conference, will I be able to
receive a refund?
Written
requests made prior to January 31, 2012 will be honored.
Thereafter, no refunds are possible.

What is a Hospitality Reception? Do I have to sign up?
Does it cost extra?
The
Hospitality Receptions are networking opportunities on Sunday
and Monday evenings hosted by the ECC Hospitality Sponsors.
Refreshments are available. All Conference Attendees,
Speakers, Sponsors and Exhibitors are welcome to attend one or
both of the Receptions at no additional cost. Attendance
is optional, however, it is strongly encouraged. The
setting provides an opportunity to discuss concepts presented at
the panel sessions, to meet speakers and peers. If you
plan to attend, please check the box(es)
so that an admission ticket will be part of your registration
package and so that we can give accurate counts to the hotel for
food and space planning.
What is the First Pre-registered Guest?
Guests are
usually spouses or colleagues who attend the Hospitality
Receptions on Sunday and/or Monday evenings. Guests do not
attend lunches or workshops. If you are registering a
guest, please provide the guest’s first and last name in the
Hospitality Reception section, check the box for First
Pre-registered Guest, and include the cost in the Fees section.
Although
the ECC is pleased to waive the registration fee for Speakers.
Speakers are responsible for paying the fee for their guests.
As a registered Sponsor or Exhibitor Representative can I attend
the conference workshops?
Yes, all
registered Sponsor and Exhibitor representatives may attend the
conference workshops.
CONTINUING
EDUCATION APPROVALS
The American Academy of Professional Coders:
This
program has the prior approval of the American Academy of
Professional Coders (AAPC) for up to 7.0 continuing education
hours towards its CPC®, CPC-H®, CPC-P®, CIRCC® or CPMA®
designations. Granting of prior approval in no way constitutes
endorsement by AAPC of the program content or the program
sponsor.

Medical Coding CEUs*
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners:
The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) will accept
attendance for up to 9 hours toward its CPE requirements.
Certified Fraud Examiners may claim 1 hour of CPE credit for
every 50 minutes of instruction.

The Commission For Case Manager Certification (CCMC):
This program has been pre-approved by the Commission for Case
Manager Certification for up to 7.5 clock hours of continuing
education credit to Certified Case Managers (CCMs.)
The Certification of Disability Management Specialists
Commission (CDMSC):
The CDMS Commission has approved our application for up to 7.5
clock hours of continuing education credits.
The Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC):
The CRC Commission has approved our application for up to 7.5
clock hours of continuing education credits.
The National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA):
The National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA) has
approved the 2012 Eastern Claims Conference for up to 10
Continuing Professional Education units toward the Accredited
Health Care Fraud Investigator (AHFI(®) designation. Granting of
this approval in no way constitutes endorsement by the NHCAA of
the program content or program sponsor.
