Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Dates for the 2008 conference?
February 24-26, 2008
When will
the 2008 Program Information and Attendee Registration
forms be available on the Web Site?
Information concerning the 2008 Program and Registration
forms will be available on the web site in mid-December
2007.
Have you
received my attendee registration? What happens if I
show up and you have not received my attendee
registration fee?
If
you requested confirmation of your registration, you
should receive a note from the ECC by e-mail. If you did
not request e-mail confirmation, or have not received
the e-mail, we may still be processing your
registration. This is particularly true of late
registrants. Don't worry! Most of the registration
runs like clockwork. If you foresee any problem with
your registration, please bring a copy of your
registration form with you, and our helpful ECC
committee will assist you when you check in.
My company
is slow in preparing a check for the conference fees.
What should I do?
It
is best to mail or fax in your attendee registration
form with a note attached regarding when and how you
will be forwarding the payment. The ECC will register
you, and you can pay at the door. We also accept
payment by credit card (MasterCard, VISA, Discover and
American Express).
Am I too
late to attend?
Early pre-registration is the easiest way to attend the
ECC, but it is possible to register at the door, subject
to a $50 late fee.
What is the
dress code at the conference?
Business attire is encouraged.
If I cancel
or do not attend the conference, will I be able to
receive a refund?
Written requests made prior to January 31, 2008
will be honored.
Thereafter, no refunds are possible.
Can my
company pay registration fees by Electronic Funds
Transfer (EFT)?
Yes, please contact Connie Wing for details.
What is the
tax ID for the Eastern Claims Conference
The
Federal Tax ID (EIN) number is 20-8483688
What is a
Hospitality Reception? Do I have to sign up? Does it
cost extra?
The
Hospitality Receptions are networking opportunities on
Sunday and Monday nights provided by the ECC Hospitality
Sponsors. Refreshments are provided. All Conference
Attendees, Speakers, Sponsors and Exhibitors are welcome
to attend one or both of the Receptions at no additional
cost. Attendance is optional, however, it is strongly
encouraged. The setting provides an opportunity to
discuss concepts presented at the panel sessions, to
meet speakers and peers. If you plan to attend, please
check the box(es) so that an admission ticket will be
part of your registration package and so that we can
give accurate counts to the hotel for food and space
planning.
What is the
First Pre-registered Guest?
Guests are usually spouses or colleagues who attend the
Hospitality Receptions on Sunday and/or Monday
evenings. Guests do not attend lunches or workshops.
If you are registering a guest, please provide the
guest’s first and last name in the Hospitality Reception
section, check the box for First Pre-registered Guest,
and include the cost in the Fees section.
Although the ECC is pleased to waive the registration
fee for Speakers, Speakers are responsible for paying
the fee for their guests.
